In 2019, Mediekompaniet investigated the representation in Swedish news media in the Rättvisaren report and the results were skewed and disappointing.
Since then, a lot has happened, both in society at large and with news publishers; several media houses have actively worked with the 50/50 rule in terms of gender and the world has seen on crisis after another.
How does it look today, four years later? In Rättvisaren 2023, Mediekompaniet examines the current representation in Swedish news media, who is visible and who tends to disappear in the coverage?
